I am so sorry for your loss. You didn't ask, but...could you complete the comfort shawl and present it to the family at some time after the funeral? It may comfort them. So sad.
Oh, no. I'm so sorry. It's so sad when kids lose a parent. It was rough on my two middle kids when they lost their mom to cancer at age 3 and 5. I can't imagine how much harder it is for teens. :-(
